I am drawn to capturing patterns such as the natural patterns in rocks and their intimate relationship with lichen, moss and various other “tenants”.
I love native vegetation and scour the countryside to capture examples of these, exquisite in their simplicity.
As my travels continue I am planning returns in the spring to the American Southwest and the Pacific Northwest next summer.

My gallery is truly a labor of love.
My enthusiasm for being outdoors observing nature and people and my wanderlust feed my passion for creating images of what not only I see, but what I feel, as well.
I am always inspired when I am there and am compelled, like so many others -- like David Muench , in the need to capture what I see as well as what I feel.
I am also in love with New England, including my native Maine.
New England has so many interesting things to offer the enthusiastic photographer from the subtle shades of a leaf by a stream to rocky coasts exploding in a nor’easter.
